K is for Kitchenware, the pots and pans, the stylish forks and knives, the ceramic bowls and earthenware dishes. The silent army that helps conquer the perfect dish. The utensils that carve, sift, cook, and bake. The stoic companions that play a key part in the symphony of magic that occurs in the kitchen.
From my red plastic vintage bowls to my flowered ceramic bowls, wooden utensils, forest green marble cutting slab to my collection of glorious plates, kitchenware is a thing of utter beauty. Who hasn’t lusted after a Le Creuset pot? These items are not only practical but alluring, perfect to use as decorative elements when they are not being used.
An entire industry is now focused on creating these lust-worthy objects. You just know you’ll be able to cook better with the new bowl or spoon. This is my argument, to myself and to husband, but I know that in my case, things are pretty hopeless. But at least the kitchen looks lovely and the table is a dream.
With K is for Kitchenware, we salute the kitchen army, always at the ready, lending a touch of colour, making your home feel more like your special place. Thanks to all the product designers and artisans who work so creatively to induce this madness in us. We are eternally grateful!
